The book's dramatic locations

Most of the places where the action happens exist and are well worth visiting.
Alas Annabelle's no longer operates but there are wonderful new beachside restaurants at Noosa. The writer and Kathie spent our honeymoon at the Noosa Sheraton (now the Sofitel) and our meal at Annabelle's was magnificent.
The Noosa Surf Club is going strong and we visited recently when our eldest son competed in the Noosa Triathlon (the second biggest in the world). The first leg starts and finishes in front of the surf club and spectators line up on the beach and in the surf to cheer the contestants on.
Caloundra Surf Club is a regular haunt with a wonderfully relaxed vibe overlooking Kings Beach. The same goes for Moffat Beach Brewery. My favourite in house beer is "Deadbeat Husband".
Bertoni's is a figment of my imagination based on various Argentinian fire pit restaurants I have visited. I love Argentinian Merlot.
Pompette is a new French restaurant at Brisbane Casino with well priced, delightful french food and bubbles.
Corrections
p66 the word cross is repeated.
pp98 and 186 insert Bethany for Bonny.
p163 delete ? from (i)
p131 insert Oscar for Carlos. He should not be confused with Carlos Puyol the Barcelona and Spain defensive legend who famously got Spain into the 2012 World Cup Final with a headed goal from a corner versus Germany!
The champagnes of EDV. will be discussed in a future blog.
Happy reading!
